CASE 14
Clinical history: Sixty-eight-year-old woman with a painful, 2 cm large, palpable "mass" in the left breast.
Mammography: Absence of definite tumor but the examination is handicapped by the high density of the breast parenchyma.
Surgery: Resection biopsy of the clinically suspicious area for diagnosis.
Demonstrated slide: Representative cross section of the lesion.
