CASE 1
Clinical history and mammography: Non-palpable architectural distortion in the upper-outer quadrant of the left breast of a seventy-nine-year-old patient with an history of contralateral cancer fourteen years ago. The abnormality was not present in the previous yearly mammograms.
Ultrasound: Presence of a 0.8 cm mass suspicious for malignancy at the same place. Ultrasound guided FNAC was performed. The radiologist confirms the needle reached the lesion.
Demonstrated slides: Two out of four smears contained cells and were regarded as adequate samples.
