CASE 12
Mammography: Asymptomatic 43 year-old patient with a cluster of Legal III calcifications in the upper-outer quadrant of the left breast. Ultrasound showed a hypoechogenic 0.5 cm non-suspicious nodule at 3 cm distance from the nipple in direction to the axilla. This area do not corresponds to the calcifications and is not seen on the mammograms. Two sets of stereotactic NCB were performed in the calcifications and in the nodule. X-ray control of the samples confirms the presence of calcifications in the NCB of the upper-outer quadrant. Ultrasound guided FNAC was also performed in the small nodule.
Demonstrated slide: Three NCB with the calcifications.
