CASE 12
Calcifications - NCB: Secretory calcifications in blunt duct adenosis (columnar cell hyperplasia). No prove of malignancy. The NCB were classified in category B2.
Nodule - FNAC: Acellular, hemorragig background. The FNAC was classified in C1 category, non representative.
Nodule - NCB: Classical histologic picture of invasive lobular carcinoma. The NCB were classified in category B5.
Triple assessment on calcifications:
- Clinic: negative.
- Mammography: suspicious calcifications Legal 3.
- Ultrasound: negative.
- NCB: adequate, representative, benign, adenosis with secretory calcifications, B2
Ccl: Nothing else to do.
Triple assessment on the nodule:
- Clinic: negative.
- Mammography: negative.
- Ultrasound: probably benign finding.
- FNAC: not adequate, not representative, category C1.
- NCB: adequate, representative, ILC, malignant B5.
Ccl : Excisional biopsy for BCTh with lymph node removal.
